Comic Con Cosplayers

I'm a first-timer at a cosplay-type event or convention.  Cosplay is where cosplayers dress up as their favourite character from a work of fiction, for example, from a movie, TV show, video game, comic book or book. I'm just a tad too old for this myself, but it makes for very interesting photos!  Below is a small collection of cosplayers.  People lined up as their favourite characters for the cosplay competition.  


Selfies with Comic Con Cosplayers

Philip Exploring took a few selfies (well, why not?) with the various cosplayers, which ranged from Stormtroopers and Darth Vader to Ghostbusters.  I just spent some time taking selfies with as many varied cosplayers as I could and took a break from the guests.  Below is a contact sheet.

Cosplay

The cosplay started with Hocus Pocus singing and some people getting up for a fun dance.  Not sure if this was the competition or not, but jolly good fun nevertheless.   Here is a selection of cosplayers.  Popular cosplay seems to be Star Wars and Doctor Who.  Some of the cosplays were made by The Eye of Harmoni, which is a Whovian cosplay group and along with Cosmos Cosplay Group, they had the prop table display with the Tardis displayed .  Click on a thumbnail to view full screen.  Enjoy.
