About Philip Exploring

In 2015, Philip took up digital photography and joined Focus Photography Club in Craigavon as cameras improved and progressed from point-and-shoot (various brands) to Nikon DSLRs and mirrorless.  I subsequently joined Dungannon and Cookstown Camera Club and then went back to Focus.  I branched out a bit into videography.  

Film photography (SLRs), I was never interested in, as I did that in my further education days at Southern Regional College (then called Upper Bann Institute of College of Further Education and Higher Education Lurgan Campus) and also higher education at the University of Ulster (also known as the Art College) in the 1990s.  I’m now on Nikon mirrorless systems.  I also like photographing and filming on my iPhone 14 Pro Max.
