Portadown Photos
The town centre has lots of Portadown shops along High Street, including one of the oldest Cordners Shoes, which has been there since I can remember and also off the main street along Edward Street in Portadown, Thomas Street, Woodhouse Street and William Street, where the Millennium Court is located, where there are many exhibitions on show. There are two shopping centres in town, High Street Mall and Meadows Shopping Centre. This is a series of black-and-whites in Portadown. Also, watch the video I filmed, too.
Country Comes To Town
My Country Comes To Town features photographs and videos of animals, vintage cars, and country music. This year, you'll hear plenty of country music as well as stalls along the High Street in the centre of Portadown. Additionally, there’ll be plenty of kids' activities, including some farm animals. Below are some of my images showing steam engines and old cars. The annual festival is run by Bryan McLaughlin and a team of people and businesses, and is supported by ABC.
Joe Mac's and Restaurant Photos
Fancy a drink in town? Joe Mac's in Portadown is a pub and food establishment in the town. I’ve been here a few times over the years for both food and drink, and I must say the steak is lovely on the menu; the burgers are great, too. There is some live entertainment on the weekends at Mac's Bar.
Clare Glen Tandragee Photos
Another great place for walking and general exploring is Clare Glen in Tandragee, which is about a 15-minute drive from Portadown. As you'd expect very popular with locals and naturists who love the outdoors. There is a caravan park here around the entrance. About halfway around, there is a bridge over the river.
