Inspired by the old BBC series The Tripods (which was based on the book The White Mountains - I'll get around to reading this someday). I had planned to build a replica of the tripods 3 legged machine but have opted more for an 'original' design from various bits and pieces - note the golf ball, the old apple mac mouse and the various washers etc (now that's cheap!). Note the bottom right picture shows the domed city used at end. |

Ray gun(s) - although I built two versions on Christmas 06' (the early idea featured 2 characters) I used the one that looked the best. Deliberately influenced by the old 50's-60's B movies (I always loved these as a kiddie). Note the Old English cans (tasty) which were left over from that Christmas, lucozade bottles etc. |

Prop. - At one point I had an idea for a lightsaber duel for a star wars short so I made 2 lightsabers but this was never realized. |
