Resistance to the Tripods - videospecial effects & compositing
Videos #1 (recent projects) • Videos #2 (older films) • DVD Motion graphics & production
Inspired by the old BBC series The Tripods (based on the book The White Mountains). Planned to build a replica of the Tripods machine but opted more for an original design using various bits and pieces like a golf ball, old apple mac mouse and various washers - now that's cheap!.

Ray guns, built two versions (the early idea featured two characters) I used the one that looked the best. Deliberately influenced by the old 50's-60's B movies (I always loved these as a kid). Spot the Old English cans (tasty) which were left over from that Christmas.

Alien tunnel.
The Master started off as basic wire model and a little bit of weird spray paint works wonders.

Photoshop cut outs of myself used for some quick shots.
Actor wouldn't come back for long shots so I photographed myself from the neck down!

Photos for backgrounds tweaked a little in Photoshop.
