After an awful experience with the Vista laptop from PC World (see below), I decided to either go for an iMac or Mac Mini. Taking into account the better quality screen, audio, keyboard, mouse (both wireless) and the extra muscle I thought the iMac was the way to go.

Technology moves a wee' bit too quick for my liking so I emailed sellers on ebay, most wouldn't post to N. Ireland. Then I googled abit and stumbled onto a site called Rapid and they sell re-furbished macs.

Anyways I ordered the iMac from them stating I didn't mind it having a few scrapes etc as long as the screen was perfect, they said no problem. After a long delay, I had to phone up the parcel company to be told the drivers were arguing as to who was going to deliver the package!

Finally got it and hooked it up, only to discover a knife wound in the monitor that really did stick out like a sore thumb. Complained, they offered me a refund or keep it and they'll knock £50 off. I thought forget it, sent it back.

Bought a discontinued (although brand new) iMac from Jigsaw for £715. Sold as much as I could on ebay to help pay for it - and man the thing ROCKS BIG TIME.

A weekend trip to London to see Joseph Nov. 07.

Was watching wee' snippets of 'Any dream will do' (in between X-factor) on the beeb in the summer, so I thought since I've never been to the theatre in my entire life (i've been more of a cinema goer) I thought it would be a good idea to go see the show. It was in a small theatre and overall an excellent experience but VERY VERY expensive!

Took a bus trip around London (very cold), seen The Dungeon (think that's what it was called) which used actors to explain about history in torture chambers etc.

A weekend away in Benidorm Nov. '07 (think I had one to many that night).

My tesco broadband deal was up in August so decided to go for that orange broadband deal where you can get a cheap laptop (this cost me £100) from PC World. Thought I might be able to use this an upgrade to my old G4 mac (which I bought in 2000 and have constantly upgraded since), guess what? the PC was so piss poor things you can do on the mac the PC seems to struggle with leading to me getting very very frustrated.

The first laptop (compaq) had dead pixels so i brought it back, the second compaq the dvd drive packed in after 2-3 weeks, I have an Acer now!

Jake and Lucy.
This year I grew some veg - tomatoes (not good), carrots (ok but very very small) and peas (tasty but not enough of 'em).
